St Lawrance Market and Greek Town

We visited St Lawrance Market and Greek Town today. We bought the TTC day pass for Cad$9 to be shared by 2 ppl.. 1st stop: St Lawrance Market. Its not really the kind of wet market that we have in S'pore.. There a wide variety of shops and stalls here.. very interesting. I love the bagel in one of the stalls here.. Very nice =) The bagel itself is favoured and sweet without the cream cheese.. and its really cheap. I bought a garlic and onion bagel for Cad$0.69. We bought home-made pasta sauce and pasta here too. It will be our lunch for tmr. Bought my maple syrup here as well. Oh, and the best thing about here is that there are many samples for us to try. Wine, Pasta, Bagels, and even cherries (ok, me and Ngian Xin asked the fruit seller to let us try tyhe cherries though.. hee..).

GreekTown is one of Toronto's most vibrant and cosmopolitan neighbourhoods. We took the subway to GreekTown and alight at Chester station if im not wrong. Can't wait for dinner cos we are going to have authentic Greek cuisine =)

GreekTown:

We had authentic greek cuisine for dinner. The appetiser is a bread wif Greek dipping. Don't really like the dip though.. Perhaps im not used to tat kind of taste.. :

We are served salad too.. Not bad:

Greek rice and potato. The rice really taste different from the usual rice that we ate. It taste nice though:

Greek rice with fish and chicken. The sour cream sauce is nice too. Delicious:

We ordered a plate of mixed meats as well.. There's lamp chop, chicken and pork. They really marinate the meat well wif delicious sauce:

The food took some time to be served, so we kill time by taking pic.. :

I don't noe wat am i looking at.. Jiali took this pic.. :

spotted this unique car wif unique car plate:

Flags of Canada and Greece:

The sky is getting dark and we decided to go back to our hostel. But before tat, we visit Chinatown for groceries shopping again. With the unlimited rides TTC daypass, there's no need to walk to Chinatown in the super cold night. Cheers for the daypass.
